Discover - As we reviewed the Master Clean App project, we found out that the challenge here was similar to the Flipfolder app, so we did not try to reinvent the UI/UX design wheel and decided to take the same approach as we had done with the and the Flipfolder app, and upon the delivery of the final version did meet the expectations of the client. We sat down with the client and reviewed the app's existing user interface and navigational issues. Upon our usage of the app, we found out the navigational links were not highlighted to make navigation for one page to the other convenient and easy. The navigation interface lacked the feel of interactiveness and the menus did not carry enough visual weight.

Define - Following our findings on the many issues and problems that were inherent in the app, making it difficult for users to conveniently navigate across the app. We had a brainstorming on how to provide an ideal UX solution to the problem. As we had dealt with such navigation and user interface with Flipfolder app, coming up with a viable solution for the Master Clean App did not pose a big challenge. Our main focus was to make the interface and navigation design simple and accessible, so that the users would not lose themselves when using the app.

Design - In terms of the design, it was important for us to just focus on the user interface and the navigational aspect without compromising on the core architecture of the Master Clean App. So we started with a few detailed sketches for the UX interface and navigational design. Our main focus is to avoid using tiny menu icons, and try to put the navigation menu on familiar locations that would be easy to find for the users.
Making the menu look interactive and carrying a visual weight was another navigation aspect that we had to keep in mind while selecting the color palette for the app interface. So for the UX design and for the ease of navigation we used simple and understandable link labels, making them easy to scan for the users. Once we had the sketch ready that met our satisfaction, we proceeded with the wireframe and building of a prototype design for the interface and navigation.

Deliver - With an uncomplicated and user-centric approach, we are able to test and deliver a seamless and smooth user interface with an easy and convenient navigation design carrying a visual weight. With a complete redesigning of the user interface and navigation features. Now a user can seamlessly navigate to and fro from all the 39 different features and functions of the app without any glitches. Moreover, this smooth and easy navigation has made the user experience more engaging and compelling.
